Labiaplasty
Reduction labiaplasty, or nymphoplasty, reduces excess labia minora when there is discomfort, pulling, friction, asymmetry or an aesthetic wish. It removes excess skin and mucosa while respecting anatomy, sensitivity and sexual function. Dr Manon Belhoste performs this procedure in Marseille, for €1,500 to €3,000.

How is the procedure performed?
Dr Manon Belhoste performs labiaplasty alone or combined with a clitoral procedure. The incision line is adapted to the shape and appearance of the edge of the labia, and is decided during a consultation.
Reduction labiaplasty
Removes excess skin and mucosa from the labia minora, keeping enough height, then brings the edges together with fine stitches.
€1,500
Labiaplasty with clitoral procedure
Reduces the labia minora and, at the same time, moves the clitoris back or reduces the clitoral hood, the fold of skin that covers the clitoris.
€3,000
What happens during the procedure and recovery?
Dr Manon Belhoste performs labiaplasty at the La Phocéanne polyclinic and the Phénicia clinic in Marseille. A consultation with the anaesthetist takes place before the procedure.

Frequently asked questions
Here is a visual and schematic representation of the labiaplasty.

Labiaplasty corrects a functional or shape-related problem with the labia minora, while respecting anatomy, sensitivity and sexual function. Choosing not to operate and to monitor the situation always remains possible: some problems improve with local care, suitable clothing, treatment of a skin or gynaecological condition, or specific care for vulvar or sexual pain. The indication is elective, meaning it is based on a personal, stable request that has been carefully considered.
Before labiaplasty, Dr Manon Belhoste and the anaesthetist give instructions on fasting and hygiene, which must be followed strictly. Any treatment, allergy, medical history, clotting disorder, possible pregnancy or recent medical event must be reported to them. No prescribed treatment is stopped on your own initiative, and medicines that increase bleeding risk are only changed after advice from the prescriber, the surgeon or the anaesthetist. Stopping smoking is strongly recommended before and after the procedure. You will need loose cotton underwear and a gentle, non-traumatic external protection for the journey home, plus someone to accompany you when you leave.
After labiaplasty, the first few days are spent on relative rest, with gentle walking in small steps and non-compressive cotton underwear. Baths and immersion are avoided for about 1 month, though a daily shower with mild soap remains possible. Sexual activity resumes after 4 to 6 weeks, and high-impact sports are avoided for about 1 month. Local care involves a daily shower with mild soap, then gentle drying, keeping the wounds clean and dry. Cold may be applied on and off, without ice touching the skin directly.
Labiaplasty concerns the shape of the labia minora. The vulva and clitoris are richly innervated structures, so a temporary or, more rarely, lasting change in sensation is possible. An improvement in sex life, pleasure or orgasm is not promised. A reduction in sensitivity or hypersensitivity remains possible.
Dr Manon Belhoste marks the excess area, keeping enough residual height of the labia minora. Removing too little or too much tissue, shrinkage, a notch or a distortion of the edge remain possible.
The price of labiaplasty includes Dr Manon Belhoste's fees, consultations after the operation, anaesthesia and clinic fees at the La Phocéanne polyclinic or the Phénicia clinic.
